My Wish Room Wish list

So before my wish list a quick update on my room, Ive finally installed my curtains and i chose a different fabric something plain as i think the black damask was a litle too heavy and took the attention away from my chandelier ill post a picture of it soon

I finally had the time to take the vintage pillars i got in evangelista into A and F lamps in gilmore (in my opinion their the cheapest and reliable lamp supplier in manila).

Heres the shade I chose but it will be done in a black duchess satin material with a metallic silver panned lame on the inside.

It will be a week before I get it and im very much excited.

So there a blank wall in my room and i was thinking of creating a space where i could place artwork or my mirror in it (it is in the process being painted black)

so I got some pegs online heres my inspiration:

Okay before I make my dream into a reality I need this made, Its a desk yes but I would be making it custom made into a console table! except that the legs have to be in black. I have tried 3 suppliers already, one closed down but upon extreme googling today I was able to chance upon Vannie's Blog who made a similar post about finding a mirrored console table as well! Unfortunately the supplier we were both aiming for had indeed closed down and well through Vannie's help i may soon be in the possesion of the table!

Im also dreaming of this Kartell Bourgie Lamp that would be placed on top of the console table, I was chatting with a friend from Singapore just the other day who lives just near the Kartell Flagship Store in SG!! He would try to check the prices at the store as it may be cheaper there compared here plus its SG sale month so I might be in for some freebies!!

Next and probably the last thing I would purchase is the Kartell Lou Lou Chair designed by Philippe Starck. Ive always wanted to have one and My room wouldnt be complete without me, its so me. Its classic yet the plastic makes it so modern

I also got new sheets that my lola got for me in the states! im planning to pair them with these pillow cases that i got from Linens Direct by Daphne Osena that are in black and white damask

Also got new table cover books from amazon.com cant wait to start reading them!

So thats all for now folks im really excited for my room to finish and I shall post pics when all of it is complete!

Redecorating my room: UPDATE

Ive been sick these couple of days so its a nice excuse to stay home and well focus on my redecorating.

Theyve finished painting the walls im waiting for the smell of paint to disappear before i can actually sleep! My curtains still have to be made and placed.. and my lamps still have to be done but this is how it looks like as of today...

Im really liking the gray and white! plus my Carlo Eustaquio Black and white "Imelda" art piece is perfect for my new color scheme
I still have to arrange the wires of my tv and play around with arranging the frames and books!

Ok thats all for now I still have alot of work to finish :) wher contruction/interiors is hard!

Republiq Launch

I was very much excited when I got my invite in the mail for the opening of Manilas newest club Republiq!

The place was absolutely amazing it was very luxxe indeed.

The party was so nice it was nice to see everyone dressed beautifully! but it was so much nice to see friends whom i havent seen for the longest time!

Redecorating my room

My apologies if I havent blogged lately, I have been very busy trying to cope up with fashion week and clients.

I think I deserved a reward for working so hard this season that I decided I would finally redecorate my room.

It started with this chandelier, I think it bests reflects me, Classic but modern because its in black.

My room color i wanted something dark like gray as dark tones really relax and inspire me, I will be having white accents though
Vintage pieces that I bought in Evangelista that were reworked and repainted by Anton B., Im still looking for the time to bring them to A and F lights to get them rewired and place shades in them im thinking black duchess satin with silver lame on the inside.

I have shelving units designed by me Bibi (hes a frustrated interior designer but boy is he good!)

And lastly my fabric swatch that I found in shell canvas, I will be using these as curtains and maybe throw pillows (im still not really convinced on this i would prefer to have a white base than a black)

Im still dreaming of getting that louis IV black ghost chair by Philippe Starck i saw in gb5 the other day.. who knows right? lol Will definately post pics when it has all been done im very excited!

Fashion Short Films

short fashion films are all the rage now

Chanel has "Remember Now" Directed by Lola Karl, I enjoyed this one very much! it was fierce to see all the super models acting and wel ofcourse clad in Chanel.

Dior also just recently produced a film, Just in time for their show in Shanghai Starring Dior muse Marion Cotillard in "Lady Dior: Lady Blue Shanghai"
